Deprived Landscapes
This work explores the fading environments that surround the centres of Yorkshire’s towns and cities including, Sheffield, Wakefield, Doncaster and Scarborough, by using the dying photographic medium of colour film.
The images analyse different colours, forms and structures found when exploring and travelling around these banal environments that are often abandoned and devoid of human beings. Specifically focussing on the buildings and unusual objects that catch your eye when walking around and capturing these in a snapshot style way with 35mm film.
